What is application support vs. tech support?
Application support is not the same as technical support. Application support exclusively troubleshoots problems that arise from using the technology effectively and appropriately during a PE class. Examples of application support topics can include, “How do I get monitors on and off without wasting class time?” “How do I use Polar assessments to demonstrate the value of PE to my school board?” or “How often should I be downloading heart rate information to my PC?” George can give you the answers you’re looking for – all you need to do is ask.
Examples of tech support
Examples of tech support topics can include, “Where do I send a unit in for repair?”, “My student’s heart rate isn’t showing on the receiver” or “What do I do if the watch won’t let me change settings manually?”
